Will False Eyelash Glue Ruin Your Real Lashes?

False eyelashes are always the last step to get any makeup or natural charm, and you’ll look stunning, but sometimes not. It is a terrible feeling when you see your real eyelashes rip off along with your false eyelashes. As beautiful as false eyelashes, your natural eyelashes are even more so. Here are some tips to help your false eyelashes look great and keep your real eyelashes intact!

apply lashes

Tip #1: Be Very Careful with the Type of Eyelash Glue You Use!

Long-lasting eyelash glue can have some very harmful effects on natural eyelashes because they contain more irritating chemicals. Because it is used to keep false eyelashes longer, it creates more tension on your natural eyelashes. As we all know, formaldehyde is the harshest chemical in eyelash glue, because it has been found to be a carcinogen and allergen. Any eyelash glue may damage your natural eyelashes. Tip #2 can help reduce possible damage caused by eyelash glue.

Tip #2: Place Eyelash Glue Above Natural Lashes!

Unfortunately, many women and makeup artists apply eyelash glue on natural eyelashes, whether intentionally or unintentionally, but this is one of the main ways that natural eyelashes are quickly damaged. When eyelash glue touches your natural eyelashes, your natural eyelashes are exposed to all irritating chemicals. The roots of false eyelashes should not be in contact with the roots of the eyelids. The false lashes should be directly above the root of the eyelid.

Tip #3: Do Not Rip Them Off!

We know that it feels great to tear off your false eyelashes after a long and difficult day. But don't go home and rip off your false eyelashes like tear off your shoes! Tearing off false eyelashes is a very violent and foolproof method to ensure that your natural eyelashes also fall off. When the false eyelashes are torn off, your real eyelashes will also be torn off. Check the below tips to learn how to avoid this.

Tip #4: Use Make-Up Remover!

Don't tear off your false eyelashes impulsively, try an eye makeup remover, preferably waterproof. Be sure to apply makeup remover to the bottom of the eyelids. Gently remove the false eyelashes. There are some things that can wear off the eyelash adhesive, so you can keep your real eyelashes intact.

Tip #5: Soaking with Oil!

The other thing that can rub off the eyelash glue is oil! Place the oil-coated cotton pad on the closed eyes for 10-20 seconds, making sure that the lash bands and glue are soaked in the oil. It should be a breeze to remove them after this, and it will not damage your real eyelashes as it does when there is no oil.

When wearing false eyelashes, do not pull, tug or twist the false eyelashes! Remember to always treat your skin and eyelashes well! If you follow these steps correctly, the false eyelash glue won’t ruin your real eyelashes.
